It’s hard to believe July is almost over and August is almost here. When you’re living in the moment, waiting for the pandemic to pass, time seems to stand still. But looking back, Five months have gone by in the blink of an eye. It makes me wonder what the next five months will look like. I’m going to need your help with that.
I’m tired of waiting for the virus to go away. It’s obvious it is going to stick around until a vaccine or cure is found. This means we need to plan the rest of the year as if the virus will be with us. Hopefully, we will be pleasantly surprised and this will be over sooner, but realistically, we are in this for the long haul.
This is the time I send out a letter about planning for the Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We will be celebrating these holidays very differently this year. Think about how we can do that together even if we are together virtually. Let’s make the best of this and show each other how resilient and creative we are. I’d love to hear your suggestions on how we can finish 2020 in a unique and positive way.
If you are staying healthy at home, what kind of virtual classes would you like us to offer? We are working to build up our virtual learning schedule, and we would love your input. You can log in to our website and leave comments for us anytime.
In the coming weeks, I will get to share with you some new and exciting adventures. We are still in the planning stages of these, but we are working toward making the Sandefur Center the best it’s ever been, and are thrilled to invite you to come on this journey with us.
