The Sandefur Center has changed its name to Elevate WKY. The location of our campus programs will always be the Sandefur Training Center, but our programs go beyond our location. We invite you to join us as we work with individuals to elevate their lives, careers and the entire community.

Youʼre invited to share your experience with services in Henderson, Union, & Webster Counties for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). We wish to know about what services are available & if these services work for you and/or the person(s) you support. This will help us as we continue to modify or add services in the area.

Why We are Here
We are the bridge between a life of isolation and an active, integrated place in the community for adults with disabilities.  We teach coping skills, work ready skills, communication skills and life skills so our participants may be confident and productive members of our community.  We focus on community integration and work ready learning, creating the most loyal employees for our Henderson area businesses and productive citizens for our community.
